Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Maintenance Technician, you will support multiple restaurant locations by ensuring equipment and facilities remain fully operational and compliant with safety standards.
- ✔ Perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment.
- ✔ Repair and maintain fryers, ovens, coolers, HVAC systems, plumbing, and lighting.
- ✔ Diagnose maintenance issues and identify root causes.
- ✔ Respond quickly to maintenance work orders and emergency repairs.
- ✔ Troubleshoot and install restaurant equipment.
- ✔ Maintain maintenance logs and repair records.
- ✔ Load and transport tools and materials to work sites.
- ✔ Coordinate repairs with restaurant managers and external vendors.
- ✔ Use hand tools, electric tools, plumbing tools, and power equipment safely.
Candidate Profile
This position is suited for candidates with strong technical maintenance skills and experience working in commercial or restaurant environments.
- ✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance or equipment repair.
- ✔ Experience with HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
- ✔ Valid driver’s license required.
- ✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- ✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- ✔ Ability to travel to multiple restaurant locations across Manitoba.
